Gertrude Narkie Tetteh - Biography

Gertrude Narkie Tetteh is a Ghanaian Social Health Development specialist, an entrepreneur and a Founding Coordinator of the Centre for Initiative and Participatory Development Consult, CIPaD Consult, a social development, research, and capacity building firm and Centre for Initiative and Participatory Development a Non-Governmental Organization. She is married to Frank Baah Ameyaw and a mother of three.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with Sociology from the University of Ghana and a Master of Arts in Population and Health with Research from University of Cape Coast. In 2020 Gertrude graduated with a Master of Philosophy in Development Management from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration.

Gertrude has hands-on work experience and expertise in the fields of research, project consulting, management and capacity building. Her research interest has been in the areas of child welfare, culture, health, capacity building, mental health, primary healthcare and strengthening the role of the private sector in health and health systems. 

She is a corporate member of the Ghana Social Workers Association and Project Management Professional. she has worked in collaboration with various institutions within the public, private and non-governmental agencies.
